Data Privacy & Security
This project explores core principles of cybersecurity, including the CIA Triad—confidentiality, integrity, and availability—and how they relate to protecting sensitive information in real-world settings.
It applies U.S. privacy regulations across sectors such as healthcare, education, and finance, with a special focus on workplace privacy compliance.
I created a Contingency Plan tailored for a small home health agency. The plan outlines how to maintain critical operations and safeguard patient data during cybersecurity incidents or system outages.
Designed with limited resources in mind, this project demonstrates practical, actionable steps that align with HIPAA and other U.S. privacy laws while ensuring continuity of care and legal compliance.
DISCRETE MATH FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
This project demonstrates the practical application of Prim’s and Kruskal’s Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) algorithms in optimizing network connections. Using Python and GraphOnline, I created and analyzed a weighted graph to determine the most cost-efficient structure that connects all vertices with the least total weight.
This project highlights how MST algorithms support real-world systems such as computer networking, telecommunications, and infrastructure planning by minimizing cost and maximizing connectivity.
